DIVERSA introduces itself in the Allgemeine Forstzeitschrift (General Forestry Journal)

In issue 19 of the Allgemeine Forstzeitschrift (AFZ – DerWald) journal, members of the DIVERSA Climate Future Lab present the project's objectives and research approaches. DIVERSA is investigating how forests in Lower Saxony respond to increasing disturbances caused by drought, heat, storms, pathogens and fire, and what natural adaptive capacity they possess. The focus is on the resilience of forest ecosystems and their significance for society and forest management. The article provides an overview of the research approach and the relevance of the topic in the context of climate change.
